sound:frame is an annual festival for audiovisual expressions in Vienna. The catalogue is the festival's central source of information, compiling theory and scientific texts, a presentation of works and performances and a register of all artists involved.
We chose to use index tab cuts as a cost-effective way to get three different formats (one for each category) and develloped a gridsystem, which was able to deal with all of them. Based on this grid we derived three layouts in order to represent the content in an appropriate way while still keeping an overall consistency.
